Epicote Epoxy Low Profile Slip Resistant Coating. Product no. 76001T to 79023T:

  • A gloss one component solvent based coating formulated to provide good chemical resistance.
  • Available in a variety of ready-mix colors.
  • Available with Fine, Medium or Coarse Traction Granules. Unless otherwise stipulated this product is supplied with medium traction granules.
  • Durable, resists abrasion and many chemicals such as oil, grease, alcohol, mild solvents, cleaners, weak acids and alkalis.
  • Suitable for interior use on wood, concrete or metal.
  • Typical applications include warehouses, showrooms, factories, service stations, machine shops, etc.

SURFACE PREPARATION: All surfaces to be painted must be clean, dry and free from dirt, grease, wax, oil, rust, mildew, efflorescence, chalk, soap residue, loose paint and any other foreign matter. New concrete or masonry surfaces should age at least 30 days before being painted. Spalling or powdery concrete must be repaired to a sound surface before painting. Uncoated concrete that is smooth troweled or suspected of treatment with chemical de-icers should be etched with dilute muriatic acid and rinsed thoroughly with clean water before painting to promote bonding. Unsound or rotting wood must be replaced before painting. This coating may be applied directly to properly prepared bare metal. Glossy surfaces should be scuff sanded to promote the maximum adhesion of this product.

METHOD OF APPLICATION: Stir thoroughly and apply without thinning with brush or roller with an average spreading rate of 300-400 square feet per gallon. Add traction granules. Square foot averages may vary depending upon surface texture and porosity. Typically, this product can be recoated in 12-16 hours and is dry to walk on in 24 hours under good conditions. Cool temperatures or high humidity will extend drying times. Do not apply if air or surface temperature will be below 50° F within 24 hours of application.
